What our customers say

"Couldn't be better"

We are so happy we discovered Karina and Brian's company. They made our dreams come true. We originally checked American travel agencies, and for the individual trip as complicated as ours we would have to pay more than twice as much as we ended up paying with Cusco Experience. Our trip was difficult to plan, because it lasted 16 days during, in which time we wanted to see as much as possible. We went to Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Nazca Lines, Ballestas Islands and Lima. They arranged every step of our trip according to our needs and requests (we are in our late fifties). They were available day and night whenever we needed them and right away smoothed out any wrinkles ( that were unavoidable and not of their fault, like consequences of a late train and so on). They found the best hotels (we have no idea how they did it, considering the prices, pure magic). They are wonderful people. We highly recommend their services.

Private Tour: Rainbow Mountain from Cusco

We took this tour a few days ago. It was so wonderful. Our guide Jose was wonderful! He was the best guide I've ever had on any tour anywhere in the world. He made sure that we made it to the top! I absolutely know that I would not have made it without Jose. This was one of the single greatest experiences I've ever had. I am truly grateful to Cusco Unique Experience and particularly, to Jose, for this amazing day. Please listen to your guide so you can have an amazing experience as well!

“6-Day Private Tour to Cusco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu”

This was an amazing tour. Definitely worth 5 stars. We had top notch personal service from the time we booked the tour including numerous emails back and forth to get our preferences in hotels and schedule before even going. We were able to customize some aspects of the tour. We were met at the airport even after flight cancellations and delays by Brian and Karina along with a driver and were presented with welcome gifts and detailed itineraries. We were then driven to Sacred Valley to rest after travelling for almost 24 hours to get to Cusco. The next morning we were picked up by a private guide and driver. The vehicle was a large, comfortable and clean van for just the four of us including the driver and guide. Our guide Edith was amazing and not only provided detailed historical information but made everything interesting by explaining the customs, foods, clothing and cultures of the different areas we visited. There were no questions that Edith could not answer. We travelled to Aquas Calientes by train and visited Machu Picchu the next day. Again we had a private guide. The benefit of having private guides is you can go at your own pace. Since my spouse and I are avid photographers we like to spend time taking lots of photos from different view points. Also, with the steep climbs and high altitude, it was nice to be able to go at our own pace and enjoy the sites without being rushed, After Machu Picchu, we spent another night in Sacred Valley and two nights in Cusco. Our days in Sacred Valley and Cusco were full visiting numerous sites including Maras. Again we had our guide Edith and a driver Carlos. Edith provided lots of information and interesting facts for all the sites we visited. While we were in Cusco we went to a cooking lesson. Again, this was private with only the head chef and my spouse and I. We had an amazing time and the food was excellent. Brian was always accessible during our stay. He would promptly respond to any questions via email. We can't say enough how wonderful this tour was and highly recommend it. It was the best tour we have ever taken!!

Great company, Hamilton Is an excellent guide!

Cusco Experience arranged a day tour in and around Cusco. They were great to work with, both before we arrived and once we got there. Karina and Brian met us at our hotel the day we arrived to make sure everything was arranged. Most importantly, the tour was excellent. We loved our guide, Hamilton. He was extremely knowledgeable, interesting, and funny. His English is outstanding. He was also very helpful -- we needed to pick up medication at a pharmacy so Hamilton and our driver did a masterful job of navigating the crazy Cusco traffic to get us there and make sure we got what we needed. Cusco and its surroundings are beautiful and fascinating. Having Hamilton guiding us made this a perfect day.

Amazing 5 day / 5 night tour of the Sacred Valley

My husband and I did a private 5 day / 5 night tour of the Sacred Valley with Cusco Experience and loved it. Karina and Brian who run the company were exceptionally responsive and went out of their way to cater to our specific requests/requirements in arranging the tour. When there was an unexpected workers strike in Cusco preventing transportation along our planned tour routes, Karina and Brian found a way to keep the itinerary as planned so we wouldn't miss any of our requested/planned stops. We were grateful for their efforts. They continued to keep in touch throughout the tour, and even stopped to see us at the end to say goodbye.

Edith, our tour guide, was a fountain of knowledge throughout the tour. She shared so much interesting information about the Sacred Valley, ranging from ancient history to modern day, pointing out hundreds of things we never would have noticed or understood on our own. We enjoyed our daily conversation with her. It made our trip special, and helped us connect to the people and spirit of the Valley.

We picked Cusco Experience because of the schedule they set up, and were happy we did. We went straight into the Sacred Valley upon arrival, avoiding altitude sickness, and allowing us to see many of the sites in the morning before the masses of tourists driving in from Cusco arrived. Staying in the Sacred Valley throughout the tour was nice as well because we were able to spend more time at the sites rather than driving back and forth from Cusco. We liked that the tour finished in Cusco, and we enjoyed the bonus cooking class at the end (some of the best food we had during our trip). I guess a lot of tourists skip most of the Sacred Valley and focus on Machu Picchu, but I actually enjoyed Ollantaytambo and many other sites just as much, if not more. Sacred Valley is very special, especially if you have a tour guide like Edith to help you understand it. And Machu Picchu is just a part of it.

My husband and I are amateur photographers and are sharing some of our favorite photos so you can get a feel for all there is to do and see in the Sacred Valley on the overnight Cusco Experience tour. We took 3000 or so photos during the trip. Everywhere we turned there was something interesting to see.

Great experience and wonderful people

We met the operators Brian and Karina on a dune buggy ride in Huacachino. They like to try attraction or tours before recommending them to their clients, which is a plus.
Since they were very nice and personable, we decided to book 3 tours with them. Two were in the Sacred Valley going each way between Cusco and Ollataytambo. The visited sites were great. The guides were excellent.
The third tour was a driven route to Rainbow mountains, which was very new. Until recently it could only be reached by a very early morning start (2-3 AM)by treking or horseback. However with the new route we were able to leave at 7AM from Cusco . The scenery to and at the top of Rainbow mountains is spectacular. We spoke to other tourists and people in the industry and they were not aware of this route. So it demonstrates how Cusco Experience is on top of things.

Unfortunately during our walk on Rainbow Mountain, my wife slipped and fell and broke her ankle. The guides were very kind and carried her to a point where she could see the mountain and then back to the vehicle.

Brian and Karina, with their son came to visit us at the hospital and brought her birthday cake (yes her birthday was spent in the hospital). They were in touch with us for the remainder of our stay in Peru and offered help in so may ways . They genuinely care about their customers and I would recommend them.

Lifetime Experience”

The Rainbow Montain is simple awesome! Its a long ride from Cuzco, very early pick up, but it totally worth it. The landscapes, cultural experiencie with local community, the trek to the mountain... simply fabolous.
TIPS: If you are not fit to a long walk, you can pay for a horse and that will make it easier. You can pay S/ 70. (soles). Brong toilet paper and cash and sun block. Please is very cold so make sure you have proper clothing. Bathrooms are very improvised and in some placs you have to pay to use it ( s/ 1.00 sol) ... Bring plenty water and snacks for the way.

“Excelente Atencion”

“Thank you Karina and Brian”

I was very happy to book this tour with Cusco Experience. I'm sorry for your inconveniences as there was a few along the way such as delayed flights etc., but some things cannot be foreseen.

Overall I was very happy,  you put together a great trip, your guides were amazing, were even able to experience the morning views at Machu Picchu which was great.

I will for sure use your company for any future trips.

“Great Experience from the Andes all the way to the Jungle”

A friend of mine recommended Cusco Experience. Did some research on them and found their Facebook page. I was taken by their personal touch. Decided to contact them and they immediately replied with a detailed itinerary. I asked if I was allowed to make some changes and it was all no problem, they personalized my trip.

The actual trip was great! I was greeted at the airport by the charming Karina. She gave me great tips to battle the altitude and helped me settle in. The tour guide Edith had a fantastic command of the English language, which made me appreciate all the Inca sites so much more. Most of the people in Cusco have some English, but I always wondered whether I really understood, and Edith was very helpful in explaining the details. Did some non-standard things as well such as a cooking class and spa session in the evening, which was great for unwinding after hiking around all day. Went to Machu Picchu but also took the Amazon Experience tour and can highly recommend it! Great value too.

“Great Experience”

An amazing family adventure from beginning to end
From the moment that we contacted Cusco Experience, they took very well care of us and our tour from the very beginning. Every questions we may had got answered immediately and they gave us great travel advises before our arrival to Peru. When we arrived to Cusco we got welcomed by Karina and Brian who we had been in contact with for the last 5 months, they brought us to our hotel and gave us a full briefing of our tour, which we at that point couldn’t wait to go on, because of all the interesting tours they had prepared for us and they didn’t let us down. Our tour was full of surprises (like a spa and message session, which was extra ordinary in a great environment) and great destinations. Also our guide Edith was amazing from the beginning and made us feel welcome every place we visited and was great to talk with. Our tours Cusco City Tour, Sacred Valley tour and our tour to Machu Picchu were all perfect planned and well done by all the time, everything from the transfer to the guide. At the end of our trip we didn’t wanted to leave Peru and we realized that we should have booked more days here, because there are so many things to see and the culture of Peru is one of a kind, which you can feel in the streets of Cusco and in the mountain of Peru. Next time we will go to Peru again to explore more of this amazing country and we will definitely contact Karina, Brian and Cusco Experience again.

“Lindo ! Perfecto !”
